The Ravenfield Model FG high temperature measurement
system is a unique platform for the rapid measurements of
the physical properties of materials in their liquid or solid
state at temperatures up to 1700 ºC.
Instrument options are available for several common
material property measurements, including viscosity,
density, surface tension, electrical conductivity and creep.
Materials of construction for the measurement systems are
chosen to suit the samples on test. Alumina, molybdenum,
boron nitride or graphite are available as standard but
other materials can also be employed at additional cost.
Everything required to begin tests is included in the offer
price. A control PC, with a TFT display is supplied to
monitor and control operations, and is the only external
apparatus needed, unless the electrical conductivity
option is included, in which case the computer stand also
holds the additional instrument.
